2015 is already shaping up to be a busy and exciting year.

My New York Gallery, Kenise Barnes Fine Art, has been great to me already this year.  At the end of the month, the show Snowbird will premiere at the gallery with other artists Christine Aaron, Michiyo Ihara, Jenny Kemp, and Josette Urso. The show will run from Saturday, Feb 28, 2015 until Apr 11, 2015.

KBFA will also be present at Art on Paper, during The Armory Art Fair, in New York City from March 5-8, 2015.  If you are in the city that week, please swing by the show in Manhattan to see the work, and have a chat with me.  From their website: “Art Market Productions is pleased to announce art on paper, an art fair from the producers of Miami Project, launching in March 2015 on Manhattan’s vibrant downtown waterfront. art on paper‘s exhibiting galleries will feature work by artists who look to paper as a major influence in their sculpture, drawing, painting, and photography. Working alongside Beneficiary Partner, Brooklyn Museum, and Presenting Parner, The Wall Street Journal, art on paper will bring the best in modern and contemporary art to downtown New York.”

I’m also showing in Knoxville, Tennessee again this year as a part of the Dogwood Arts Festival Regional Juried show at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture, from April 3-25.  The opening Reception will be Friday, April 3, 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

I will also be in the annual Art Papers Auction again in Atlanta.

An upcoming book, The Best Art of Paper, from Monsa Publications in Barcelona, will be out later this year, and will feature some of my recent works!  More updates on that coming soon.

2014RegionalJuriedPostcardXpI recently had a Regional Juried show at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where I was honored to receive the Best in Show Award for Metastic radimafungle gestation Movement #2.  Another show in Cape is currently up at the River Campus Gallery at Southeast Missouri State University.  The show, Monumental Ideas/Intimate Scale: A National Juried Exhibition, is up through the end of February.  Streptococcus Pneumon-a-Diddlitis Stage 5, on display in that show, was selected for an Honorable Mention award at the Monumental Ideas/Intimate Scale exhibition by juror Benjie Heu.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in either New York or Knoxville in the coming months.
