Thank you so much to everyone who came out to my show in Nashville over the weekend. I’ve posted several photos from the show below. The Tennesseean said, “Jamey Grimes and Charles Clary create works that are at once organic and synthetic. While Clary’s vibrant paper sculptures evoke biological forms, playfully ‘infecting’ the spaces they inhabit, Grimes’ whimsical webs of corrugated plastic provide for the completion of natural structures.”
The exhibit will be on display from December 7 through January 25 at the Rymer Gallery, 233 Fifth Avenue North in Nashville, TN.

I’m excited to announce that later this week, Nancy Margolis Gallery in New York City, NY opens a 2-person show featuring my work along with Ryan Cobourn. Cobourn will be exhibiting a new series of abstract paintings titled, Pastorale. The exhibition will be on view for a “Sneak Peek”, December 12, 2013 through December 21, 2013. The opening reception will take place in the New Year, Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6–8 pm. The exhibition closes February 1, 2014. You can visit the exhibition in Chelsea at 523 W 25th Str NY, NY.
Hey, I saw your show and I was blown away. I spent a lot of time taking your work in from different angles. Well done sir 🙂
