It has been a busy fall. I recently had a show and artist talk in Mobile, Alabama; currently have a show up in San Diego, and just got back from a fun and invigorating Southeastern College Art Conference. I’m still busily making new work, which you can see below.
My time at the University of Mobile was fantastic; I had a show called “Micro-Diddlitis” at Marilyn Foley Art Gallery and had the opportunity to speak to students and the public.
Immediately after Mobile and quick trip back to Murfreesboro, I headed to Greensboro, NC for the annual Southeastern College Art Conference. I presented a panel called, “Animation…!?!? Um, YES PLEASE!” with colleagues from across the region. I also had a piece (Patiflasmic Carcinoma) featured in the SECAC Juried Exhibition at the conference.

I am also so honored to announce that I received an Honorable Mention award for that piece, at the 2013 SECAC Juried Exhibition at the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, North Carolina. 102 artists (including two collaboratives) submitted 298 works. Submissions came from 20 states, and juror Nancy Doll selected 67 works.
The Arts San Diego Fair opens today – if you are in the area, be sure to stop by Patrajdas Contemporary‘s booth to see some of my new work.
I have a couple more exciting announcements to make, so stay tuned!
